I'm seriously worried that my nephew Jack might be narcoleptic. One minute he's playing, and the next minute Zzzzzz...

The kid can fall asleep anywhere.

Kimora Lee Simmons recently dropped 25 pounds from her already-slim frame -- and it seems the former supermodel may have done it in a not-so-healthy way.
"I have shed the fat by not eating," Simmons, 35, told PopEater.com. "But I don't like to tell the kids that so they think they shouldn't eat. No, I watch my portions, and I eat leaner proteins and vegetables and stuff like that."
Okay, so it's not that she's not eating anything. But the designer, who has two daughters with ex Russell Simmons and a son with current squeeze Djimon Hounsu, admits that she'll go for days just eating fruit or protein shakes.
Simmons says her recent move to the West Coast is the reason for her extreme new eating habits.
"I was out one night with two famous sisters, when a bunch of burgers were being passed around. I went to grab one and the two of them looked shocked. They said, 'We don't eat.' Then after I grabbed a burger, they said they were joking but I knew they weren't!" (Simmons asked that the identity of the skinny sisters not be revealed, but we can't help but guess! Paris and Nicky? Mary-Kate and Ashley?)
So maybe Simmons eating habits aren't as bad as some other stars, but she should still think about the message she's sending to her young daughters -- Ming Lee, 11 and Aoki Lee, 8 -- before blabbing that she's starving herself to fit in. Whatever happened to exercise and balanced meals?

Katy Perry not only glams up for the new issue of Elle, but she also gets real. The singer — who is gearing up for a big performance on this Sunday's Grammy Awards — dishes on diva behavior, discusses her personal life and even reveals how much she weighs in the fashion magazine's latest cover story.
"I feel like I'm at a point in my life right now where I could potentially stick around," Perry says about her outlook on being a pop star. "I don't feel like a diva, but I think diva is a great and powerful word in the sense of what Beyoncé makes it. And maybe I can't be Beyoncé, but maybe I can be Cyndi Lauper. I mean be like her, not be her. That would just be weird."
The singer also admits to having some ambitions outside of the entertainment world. "I think some people will die on the stage, and I'm not so sure I want to do that. Like, I want to have kids!" she explains. "I'm totally fine with saying that. I think some people are scared because they're worried it's going to ruin their career, but I want to live a full life."
That full life, these days, includes her hubby, Russell Brand, who she says is her perfect better half. "Everything clicked really fast. We kind of instantly got past all the surfacey stuff. And ever since then, there hasn't been a dull moment," she says. "We both needed balance, and we give that to each other. It wasn't about me taming him, which is what everyone always says — it was about timing."
Perry doesn't hold back at all, revealing details about her weight that very few celebrities seem willing to share with the world. "I was shaped like a square at one time. I was! I'm generally around 130 pounds, which is totally fine for me," she confesses. "But when I was a kid, I was the same height and weighed more like 145. And I had enormous boobs that I didn't know what to do with, so I wore minimizers, which were not cute. Those thick-ass straps! I got made fun of for the over-the-shoulder boulder holder ... and all I wanted was to look like Kate Moss. Little did I know ... that these things would come in handy someday."

It's been green-lit, killed, resurrected and put on the back burner, but now it appears that the long-in-the-works film version of Green Day's American Idiot album might finally become a reality.
On Wednesday (April 13), Reuters reported that Universal is in negotiations to pick up the screen rights to the Broadway version of "Idiot," and has hired Michael Mayer — who directs the stage production — to shoot the movie version.
Reuters also reported that Dustin Lance Black, the Oscar-winning writer of 2008's "Milk," is "in discussions" to write the screenplay, and that Tom Hanks will serve as producer on the film, along with Green Day themselves. (Hanks and his business partner Gary Goetzman were producers on the film version of the Broadway smash "Mamma Mia!" the musical based on the songs of ABBA.)
All of that means that, after a voyage that started way back in 2004 — when Billie Joe Armstrong told MTV News that the bandmembers were "talking" to screenwriters about adapting the album for the big screen — American Idiot could finally find its way to your local multiplex.
In 2006, Armstrong promised fans that the film version of Green Day's hit album would "definitely ... happen," but the band instead turned their attention to creating their next album (2009's 21st Century Breakdown) and a stage version of Idiot, which premiered at Berkeley, California's Berkeley Repertory Theater in '09 before heading to Broadway. Still, they remained adamant that a film would be coming, with Armstrong telling The Associated Press that it would echo the feel of cult classic "The Rocky Horror Picture Show."
Hanks' reported attachment to the project is also interesting, considering that last year, Green Day dismissed his involvement as "just talk."
A spokesperson for Green Day could not be reached for comment by press time.
Meanwhile, the "American Idiot" musical will officially end its Broadway run on April 24, with Armstrong reprising his role of St. Jimmy.
